These Terms of Use (“Terms”) form a legally binding agreement between you and Twofer Technologies Pty Ltd (“Twofer”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
By creating an account or accessing or using the Twofer mobile application or related services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
Please also read our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use and disclose personal information.
Twofer is a neighbour-powered pickup coordination platform.
The Service allows users to:
Create a pickup request for an order they wish to collect
Provide a preferred pickup time and pickup location
Provide notes and instructions to help coordinate the pickup
Allow nearby neighbours to view relevant pickup requests
Allow a neighbour to choose whether they can help with a pickup request
Communicate with the other user involved in an accepted request
Confirm collection and completion of a pickup
Earn and use pickup credits through the Twofer credit system
Twofer provides the technology and coordination platform only.
Twofer does not:
Purchase goods on behalf of users
Operate the shops, restaurants, supermarkets or other businesses from which users order
Act as the seller of goods purchased by users
Take possession of users' orders as a business
Transport goods as a carrier or delivery service
Guarantee that a neighbour will accept a pickup request
Guarantee that a pickup request will be completed
Any purchase of goods is made between the requester and the relevant shop, restaurant, supermarket, or other merchant.
Any arrangement to collect and bring an order to another user is made between the participating Twofer users.
To create an account and use Twofer, you must:
Be at least 18 years of age
Be located in Australia or otherwise be in a region where the Service is made available
Provide accurate, current and complete information
Have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
Not have been previously suspended or permanently banned from the Service
By using Twofer, you represent that you meet these requirements.
If you do not meet them, you must not use the Service.
Most Twofer features require you to create an account.
You agree to:
Provide accurate and truthful information
Keep your account information up to date
Keep your account credentials secure
Not allow another person to use your account
Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access to your account
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account, except to the extent that applicable law provides otherwise.
Twofer is not responsible for loss caused by your failure to take reasonable steps to protect your account or login credentials.
A requester may create a pickup request by providing information such as:
Preferred pickup date and time
Pickup location
Notes or instructions for the helper
Drop-off details
Other information reasonably necessary to coordinate the request
You are responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is accurate and sufficiently clear for the request to be understood.
Twofer does not place or pay for the underlying order unless a particular feature expressly states otherwise.
Where required, the requester is responsible for placing the order with the relevant merchant and following that merchant's ordering, payment and collection requirements.
Users must comply with the merchant's applicable terms and instructions.
A pickup request is not guaranteed to be accepted.
A neighbour may choose whether or not to accept a request based on their own circumstances, availability, location, pickup time, or other considerations.
Twofer does not guarantee that a helper will be available or that a request will be accepted.
Once a neighbour accepts a pickup request, the participating users may communicate directly to confirm details.
Users are responsible for providing any additional information reasonably necessary to coordinate the pickup.
A helper may mark a request as collected after collecting the relevant order.
The requester may then confirm completion in the app.
Where applicable, a helper may be asked to upload a photo or other information to confirm collection or completion.
When using Twofer, you agree to:
Provide accurate and complete information
Provide clear pickup and drop-off instructions
Confirm relevant details with the other user when necessary
Communicate honestly, respectfully and in a timely manner
Take reasonable care of any goods you agree to collect or bring to another user
Follow applicable merchant instructions for collection
Be available at the agreed drop-off location or make reasonable alternative arrangements
Promptly notify the other user if circumstances change
Act in good faith when using the Service
Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
You remain responsible for your own orders, belongings, decisions and arrangements made with other users.
Twofer may enable participating users to communicate directly, including by telephone call or text message.
When another user receives your contact information through the Service, you agree that you will:
Use that information only for purposes reasonably connected with the relevant pickup request
Communicate respectfully
Not send unsolicited marketing or spam
Not harass, threaten, intimidate or abuse another user
Not use another user's personal information for an unrelated purpose
Not disclose another user's personal information to others without lawful authority or permission
You should not share sensitive personal information with another user unless it is reasonably necessary for the relevant arrangement.

Twofer does not purchase, sell, transport, or take responsibility for goods exchanged between users.

In particular:
The requester is responsible for placing and paying for their order with the relevant merchant, unless otherwise stated by the Service
The requester is responsible for providing accurate pickup and drop-off information
The helper is responsible for collecting the correct order where they have agreed to do so
The helper should take reasonable care of goods while they are assisting with the pickup

Twofer does not guarantee that an order will be collected or completed
Twofer is not responsible for the acts or omissions of merchants or users, except to the extent liability cannot lawfully be excluded.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.
A requester or helper may cancel or change a pickup arrangement where the relevant functionality is available in the app.
Users should communicate promptly with the other participant if they can no longer proceed with an arrangement.
Twofer may cancel, restrict, or remove a pickup request where reasonably necessary to:
Protect users or public safety
Prevent fraud or misuse

Hazardous, toxic, or dangerous materials
Stolen or unlawfully obtained goods
Goods whose possession, sale, purchase, or transport is prohibited by applicable law

We may take reasonable action in response to prohibited conduct, including restricting or suspending an account.
Users may submit photographs, pickup notes, instructions, messages, and other content through the Service (“User Content”).
You remain responsible for User Content that you submit.
By submitting User Content, you represent that:
You have the necessary rights or permissions to submit it
It does not unlawfully infringe another person's rights
It does not contain unlawful, threatening, defamatory, abusive, or inappropriate material
You have not knowingly included another person's private information without a lawful reason
You grant Twofer a limited, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, display, and process your User Content only as reasonably necessary to:
Operate the Service
Provide the relevant features
Display the content to authorised users
Maintain and secure the Service
Investigate disputes, complaints, misuse, or security incidents
Comply with legal obligations
This licence ends when the relevant User Content is deleted, except to the extent retention is reasonably necessary for legal, security, dispute-resolution, or technical purposes.
We may remove or restrict User Content where we reasonably believe it violates these Terms, applicable law, or the safety or integrity of the Service.
Twofer uses a pickup-credit system to support its neighbour-help model.
Unless otherwise stated in the Service:
A requester may use a pickup credit when creating a pickup request
When a pickup is successfully completed, the requester may be required to send one pickup credit to the helper
Credits are used only within the Twofer Service
Credits have no cash value
Credits cannot be exchanged for cash
Credits do not represent money, stored value, or a financial product
Credits cannot be sold or transferred outside the mechanisms provided by Twofer
Twofer may adjust a credit balance where reasonably necessary to correct an error, reverse fraudulent activity, resolve a technical issue, or enforce these Terms.
We may change the operation of the credit system from time to time where reasonably necessary for the operation, security, or development of the Service.
Where a change materially affects users, we will provide reasonable notice where appropriate.
Credits may not be treated as property or as a guaranteed entitlement to receive a particular future service.
Twofer provides a platform for users to coordinate pickup arrangements and is not a party to agreements between users or between a user and a merchant.
Users are primarily responsible for resolving disagreements about their own arrangements.
However, you may report a dispute, complaint, safety concern, fraud, or misuse to Twofer.
Where appropriate, Twofer may:
Review information available through the Service
Request information from the users involved
Correct or reverse an erroneous credit transaction
Remove inappropriate content
Restrict or suspend an account
Take other reasonable action consistent with these Terms and applicable law
Twofer does not guarantee that it will mediate or resolve every dispute between users.

Your conduct creates a significant safety or security risk
You have attempted to manipulate or abuse the credit system
You have provided materially false information
Your use of the Service threatens the security or integrity of the platform
We are required to do so by law
Where reasonably practicable, we will provide notice and an opportunity to address the issue before taking action, except where immediate action is reasonably necessary for safety, security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, or protection of the Service.
Termination does not affect rights or obligations that arose before termination.
